MORNING STAR SHINES AGAIN

On Wednesday 17 March 2010 we resuscitated Lodge Morning Star No. 714.

For some time there has been a need for a lodge in central London, for those members who live in that area of London and in other parts of the Home Counties who prefer a central location. The lodge will also support those who work in London, giving them the opportunity to attend meetings after work, either as lodge members or as visitors. Morning Star will also act as host to the many Co-Masons visiting London from abroad.

OPEN MASONIC CEREMONY AND DINNER - OCTOBER 31ST 2009

We're holding an open Masonic ceremony - to re-confirm the wedding vows of two members - and a Masonic dinner on 31st October 2009. The ceremony, which is open to the public, is being held at our headquarters in Surbiton. The dinner is being hosted at the Hotel Antoinette in Kingston-upon-Thames.

ARSON ATTACK - MASONRY UNDER FIRE

At about 11pm on the evening of Sunday 18th January 2009, the Co-Masonic premises in Corry Street, Newtownards in Northern Ireland, owned by Lodge St. Patrick  and used by other lodges and chapters of The International Order of Co-Freemasonry, Le Droit Humain, were burgled, ransacked and torched.
