The British Federation is fortunate to possess a comprehensive library, comprising a collection of more than 3,000 books, principally concerned with the study of Freemasonry. The collection is available to members upon request and comprises both loan items and rare reference materials.
It was enhanced following a generous legacy from Ms. May Leman, the librarian for many years and is dedicated to her memory (G.L.E. 24.5.1989).
The Federation always welcomes any books or articles of historical or unusual Masonic interest.
The Library is currently being re-indexed so that only personal loan applications are currently being considered. We will update you as soon as the Library is again fully-functional. This is a huge task as the collection of some 3,000+ books has not been undertaken for the last 20 years. We trust you will be patient while this work is completed.
