WHAT WILL IT COST IF I BECOME A MEMBER?
Most Craft lodges meet approximately 8 times a year. This would be the extent of a new mason's commitment over the first three years.
Lodge membership costs are typically in the region of £70+ per annum. There will also be other extraordinary fees for items such as books, regalia and other sundries, but these are usually a one-off initial cost.
Most lodges will have a reasonable festive board. You may be asked to donate something to cover the cost of food. Special events and formal banquets have a formal charging structure but are not exhorbitant - to date, being a member of the International Order of Co-Freemasonry has not made anyone a millionnaire!!
